  ABS Mission Statement

The staff of Accounting and Business Support (ABS) is dedicated to offering the best possible, highest quality services to our customers. ABS provides and promotes rigorous standards of technical accounting, financial compliance and reporting to meet the business and management needs of campus customers and external constituents. ABS is a service-oriented organization that processes transactions, generates and monitors reports, provides financial information and decision support, and offers education and documentation for accounting and financial policies, procedures and the Reporting System. ABS prepares and maintains official financial records in accordance with GAAP, University policies, requirements of the State of Colorado, the Federal Government and funding sources. ABS is divided into the following customer support and services areas: General Accounting, Sponsored Projects Accounting, Cost Accounting, Policies and Procedures, and Business Administration.
